I hope you are doing fine? I have slowly recovered from the fair in Salzburg. 5 days without daylight and fresh air leave their marks...
Bevor ich nach Salzburg gefahren bin, hatte ich schon mit diesem Tag angefangen, dachte eigentlich ich hätte den mit den spitzern in rot ruiniert. Und so lag der noch auf meinen Tisch als ich wieder nach Hause kam...
Da kam mir die Idee die Tropfen als Beeren zu sehen und diese mit Zweigen zu verbinden, das mutet jetzt ein wenig Japanisch an, oder?
Before I travelled to Salzburg I already worked on this tag, I thought I had ruined it with the red spritzing. And so it was still lying around on my desk as I came home...
Than I had the idea od seeing the drops as berries and connecting them by branches, now it looks a little bit Japanese, doesn't it?
Für den Tag habe ich Papiere von Studio Calico "Here & There" benutzt. Ein bisschen Gesso mit einer Karte verteilt und 2 Kreise mit einer Papprolle gestempelt. Mit dem unterem Papier und Sticky Back Canvas die Blume gemacht. Neutrales Schrägband, sowie die Wood Veneers habe ich mit PSCHHIITT in Nr. 815/Vert Fluo eingefärbt.
Aus dem Schrägband habe ich 2 Blätter geschnitten, die Rauten Zweigenförmig aufgeklebt.
Danach kam mir erst die Idee mit dem Spritzen, in Zukunft sollte ich mir den Schritt vorher überlegen, oder manche Teile vorher abdecken, dann funktioniert es auch ;-)
Wie gesagt, zum Schluß noch die Beeren mit Zweige verbunden und den Titel aufgeklebt.
For the tag I used papers from Studio Calico "Here & There". I spread some gesso with a card and stamped two circles with a paper roll. With the matting paper and a piece of Sticky Back Canvas I made the flower. I colored some neutral bias binding and Wood veneers with PSCHHIITT Nr. 815/vert Fluo.
Out of the bias binding I cut some leaves and glued down the diamonds twig-like.
After that I had the idea of spritzing, in future I should think of it sooner or just cover up some parts, than it will work out better ;-)
Like I said, at the end I connected the berries with some tiwgs and put on the title.

Guten morgen ihr Lieben an diesem trüben Feiertagsmorgen. Wie schon mal erwähnt bin ich schon eine Perfektionistin. Bei mir muss es eigentlich alles gerade, ausgewogen, wenn nich symetrisch sein. Wenn man anderseits meine Arbeitsplätze sieht, könnte man mir ruhig für eine Chaotin halten.
Heute früh, noch im Dämmerzustand, fiel mir ein, dass Britta mir erzählt hatte, dass Mindy Lacefield die Umrisse ihrer Figuren immer mit links zeichnet. Gerade wenn es ums Zeichnen geht bin ich wiederum eine echte Perfektionistin und richte sehr hard über meine rechte Hand (warscheinlich zeichne ich deswegen doch wieder so wenig, ich setze mich zuviel unter Druck)
Good morning you lovelies on this beclouded bank holiday morning. Like I have already mentioned I am a perfectionist. I like it straight, equal, symetric. On the other hand, if you could see my working spaces you might get the idea I am chaotic.
Early this morning, when I was still half asleep, I thought of Britta telling me that Mindy Lacefield draws her first sketch of her pictures with her left hand. Especially when it comes to drwaing I am a perfectionist and I am a hard judge on my right hand. (That is probably why i sketch so little, I am putting too much pressure on myself)
Noch vor meiner ersten Tasse Tee habe ich mich hingesetzt und habe eine einfache Formen mit links gezeichnet. Ein wenig mit Aquarellfarben gematscht und die auch freien Lauf gelassen. Danach mit meiner Speedbal Zeichenfeder und India Ink das ganze umrandet. Lustig, mein linker Hand kann sich sehr gut an der Schulschrift erinnern...und überhaupt lustig, wie gutmütig ich auf das Fabrikat meines linken Handes schaue...
Even before my first cup of tea I sat down to draw some simple forms with my left hand. Played around with some water colors and let them flow. After that I took my Speedbal drawing pen and india ink and outlined it all...Funny, my left hand can remeber the school writing very well...and even more funny, how forgiving I look at what my left hand made...
Waaaah...wenn ich das mit rechts gemacht hätte wäre es sofort im Müll gelandet. Jetzt bekommt es ein Plätzchen in meinem Filofax! ;-) Als Erinnerung einfach mal öfters die linke Hand auszupacken...
Waaah...if I had made this with my right hand I would have destroyed it immediately, now this is getting a space in my filofax ;-)As a reminder to use my left hand more often...
