Meine Güte, wie die Zeit fliegt...Die Stunden und Tage sind ausgefüllt und schuppdiwupps sind die Wochen vergangen...Dabei habe ich ja noch gar nix von meiner Sommerakademie Anfang Juli erzählt, geschweige denn gezeigt.
Oh my, how time flies...Hours and days are fully filled and before you know it the weeks are gone...And I haven't even told you about the summer academy yet I went to at the beginning of july, and didn't even show you pictures.
Die Sommerakademie findet jedes Jahr in der Akademie Altenahr/Dernau statt in der ich Mitglied bin. 7 Tage von morgens bis abends freies malen unter Anleitung von Kirsten Graf.
Ich hatte dieses Jahr große, ganz große Schwierigkeiten überhaupt den "Flow" zu finden. Von Montag bis Donnerstag, war ich echt verzweifelt und habe kaum was aus den Fingern bekommen.
Ich frage mich immer noch warum ich erst am Freitag auf die Idee kam einige gepinnte Inspirationen von Pinterest zu holen...Wie die hier unten.

This year I had big, very big problems in finding the "flow". From Monday to Thursday I was desperate and didn't get a thing out of my hands.
I am still wondering why it took me until Friday to have the idea to take some of my pinnen inspirations from Pinterest...Like this one below.
Ich habe die Bilder von Melinda Hannigan über Pinterest kennengelernt. Und mir gefällt Ihre Farbstellung, aber vor allem das Verwitterte und Verrostete ihrer Bilder total.
Also...um überhaupt etwas zu machen, habe ich mich dran gemacht eins Ihrer Bilder für mich umzusetzen und zu schauen wie ich ähnliche Effekte erzielen kann. Und mit der schubsende Hand und das gute Auge von Kirsten auch was "Eigenes" raus zu machen.
I first saw Melinda Hannigans paintings on Pinterst. I really like the way she uses color, but especially the weathered and rusty looks she creates.
Well...to do anything at all, I started to use one of her pictures and to see how I can achieve simular effects. And with the pushing hand and the good eye from Kirsten to make it my "own".
Ich habe das Experiment auf eine billige Leinwand gemacht. Schade, der zieht natürlich jetzt schief. Letztendlich ist das ganze ja doch nur einen (schlechten) Abklatsch, aber für unsere Küche reicht das erstmal.
I made the experiment on a cheap canvas. It is a pitty because it is crooked already. At the end it is a (bad) copy, but OK for our kitchen at the moment.
Kreise sind auf jeden Fall meins und auch so werde ich Einiges von diesem Experiment wo anders wieder umsetzen.
